We are located at Armidale in the heart of the beautiful New England Region in New South Wales. We are ideally located midway between Sydney and Brisbane on the New England Highway, only two and a half hours from Coffs Harbour, and also at a convenient location to the regional centres such as Tamworth, Gunnedah, Walcha, Inverell and Glen Innes to name a few. Armidale offers the great outdoors, the unique beauty of four seasons, a thriving educational community and the natural friendliness of The New England people. Accommodation in Armidale is plentiful with a wide selection
of high quality motels, guest houses, serviced apartments and a caravan
park. Armidale, being a regional hub of NSW, has all the services and
conveniences that you would expect to find in the larger cities. |

Armidale Airport itself is only a 5 minute drive from central Armidale, conveniently located alongside the New England Highway, the alternative route between Brisbane and Sydney. The airport has a sealed all weather runway, 1738m long equipped with runway lighting. There is also a grass cross strip ideal for training. Our facilities comprise of an office building in which contains Briefing
rooms, a Simulator room and a comfortable lounge. Internet, phone
and fax services are available to help you with your flight planning.
We also have an outside barbeque area and restrooms. The Armidale
Regional Airport Terminal Building and an adjacent service station,
are only a short walk away. |
Our Flying School is open 7 days a week from 9am to 5pm. You are always welcome to drop by for a cup of coffee or a chat. We will be more than happy to discuss or answer any questions you may have on flying training. |
