New England Flight Training is licensed to undertake
all facets of flying training from your first flight right through to
the Commercial Pilot Licence and Advanced Training. Training is carried
out at Armidale Airport.
Our highly experienced and enthusiastic instructors have over 15,000
hours flying experience between them, and are excited to be able to
share their knowledge with you. Under the direction of Stewart Hignett
as the Chief Flying Instructor and Chief Pilot, New England Flight Training
specializes in not only teaching you how to fly but also giving you
professional advice and direction regarding the aviation industry particularly
in the charter, airline and agricultural sectors.
We offer one on one training with your own dedicated instructor. As
soon as we are airborne, we are already in our training area, resulting
in minimal delays thus allowing you to enjoy a fully complete and extensive
training session. Armidale is not a busy or congested aerodrome and
thus provides relaxed, hassle-free training. Here at Armidale, we value
each and every one of our students, whether local or from other regions.
Our lessons consist of a 45 minute ground briefing, followed by a short
brief discussing the flight details to be covered, a one hour flight
session, and then completing with a post flight brief. This gives you
the opportunity to have experienced a thorough and comprehensive lesson,
thus preparing you for the next portion of your training.
